Terms of Service

These Terms (“Terms”) govern your use of Nexcue, a mobile app and website operated by Studio81 Labs s.r.o. (“Nexcue”, “we”, “our”). By using Nexcue, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Nexcue.

Nexcue helps you remember the shows you care about, track where you are, notice when new seasons or episodes are available, and decide what to watch next.

Nexcue does not stream video content. You watch shows through the streaming services, broadcasters, or other providers where that content is legally available.

Nexcue currently allows use through an anonymous app identity. You do not need to create an account to use the app.

We may add optional account features in the future, such as cross-device sync, sharing, or shared watchlists. If we do, you will be responsible for keeping any sign-in credentials secure.

You agree not to:

• use Nexcue to break the law or infringe other people’s rights;
• scrape, mass-download, or interfere with the service;
• attempt to reverse-engineer, bypass, or compromise Nexcue’s security;
• resell, redistribute, or expose Nexcue’s data or service access to third parties without permission.

Show titles, posters, episode information, cast details, and release schedules may be provided by third parties, including The Movie Database (TMDB), and remain the property of their respective rights holders.

Metadata may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Nexcue is an informational companion app and does not guarantee that any title, season, or episode is available on a specific streaming service.

Nexcue’s core experience is planned to be free at launch. We may introduce an optional Pro subscription or paid features in the future.

Any paid features will be clearly disclosed before purchase. If a subscription is purchased through an app store, cancellation and billing are handled by that app store under its own terms.

The Nexcue name, logo, design, software, and related materials are owned by Studio81 Labs s.r.o. or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Nexcue for your own non-commercial use.

You can stop using Nexcue at any time. The app includes a reset option in Settings that deletes both your server-side account data (library, tracking, recommendations, notification tokens, and related records) and the local copy on your device, and returns the app to onboarding.

If you need to delete server-side data without using the in-app reset — for example, after uninstalling the app — you can send a request to privacy@nexcue.app.

We may suspend or restrict access to Nexcue if use of the service violates these Terms or puts the service, infrastructure, or other users at risk.

Nexcue is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or the accuracy of show metadata, recommendations, notifications, release dates, or episode information.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nexcue and Studio81 Labs s.r.o. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or related to your use of the service.

Our aggregate liability under these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or EUR 50 if you have not paid anything.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply in your country of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time as Nexcue evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page and, where appropriate, in the app.
